Not only this, Jonny also placed second, seventh, fifteenth and nineteenth.
Here are a few words from Jonny on his dominant success:
“As a Newcastle fan, it was somewhat fortunate that they kept me distracted on the last day by nearly throwing away UCL qualification to stop me stressing about whether I could win Telegraph Fantasy Football, but very pleased and relieved to see both come through as the final whistle blew.
I started the season with some robust steady picks so that I could use as few transfers as possible early on. Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins came in ahead of their rearranged match against Liverpool, as well as a set of Bournemouth players who had a nice run of fixtures through February and a good chance of progressing past Wolves in the FA Cup.
I used another bunch to pick up more players in the FA Cup quarter-final, but as Id had a few suspensions and injuries to deal with, I wanted some longer-term picks, which is when Jarrod Bowen came in around GW27.
I used five of my remaining nine transfers in GW30 to buy Nick Pope, Tino Livramento, Alexander Isak, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze for their run of fixtures in early April, which I think is when I took the lead, as others didn have the ability to load up like that. Of course, it doesn always come off, but Newcastle kept a few clean sheets and Livramento even popped up with an assist.
By GW33 I had split my five teams up after running them all the same until FA Cup fifth round. Having an extra Man City defender for their four clean sheets in the final six matches proved fruitful too, as did Mbeumos run of returns and Bowen coming good from the long-term transfer I had made for him earlier on.
It wasn all smooth sailing on my route to victory; I totted up five missed penalties across the season, drafted in Mateta just before his head injury and then immediately replaced him with Matheus Cunha before his red card, so theres always something to improve on. We pride ourselves on creating the best game we can and all feedback is valued.
