Six things to expect at the 2025 SHEIN Women’s Football Awards
BBC broadcaster Gabby Logan, known for fronting major sporting events with class and insight, joins to host alongside Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher, whose punditry is as sharp as his tackling ever was, and former Lioness Eni Aluko, a trailblazer both on the pitch and in the studio. It is going to be a really inspiring evening as we celebrate those contributing to the phenomenal growth of the women’s game.’

Star-studded turnout

Get ready for red carpet glamour. Pop icon and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt will be bringing the party vibes with a live DJ set at the official after-party.

Among the famous faces expected to attend are Spice Girl Melanie C, TV favourites Paddy McGuinness, Alex Scott, and Roman Kemp, plus chart-topping singer Pixie Lott. Chelsea’s Lauren James, Manchester City’s Bunny Shaw, Arsenal’s Alessia Russo, and Vivianne Miedema are all in the running – and with the public deciding the outcome, anything could happen.

Lauren James has had a phenomenal season, while Russo remains a firm fan favourite. Past attendees include England captain Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Tyrone Mings, and Conor Coady.

This year, eyes are on Manchester City’s Jack Grealish, who’s widely tipped to show his support in person. As proud partners for the third year running, SHEIN will be gifting winners with an exclusive selection of luxury treats – from champagne and chocolate to vouchers and fashion must-haves.

These glitzy bags have become something of a collector’s item, and 2025’s edition promises to be the best yet.

The Women’s Football Awards is backed by a number of organisations including The Premier League, VISA, ScottishPower, Morrisons, Cadbury and Applied Nutrition.
